Bridal Expo
A Bridal Expo, with vendors and a fashion show, will be presented by The Daily Mining Gazette and Celebrations Bridal at the Finnish American Heritage Center on Sunday, March 4 from 1 – 4 p.m.

Hancock Event Days
When Finlandia University or Hancock Public Schools have a special event, local businesses will fly either the Hancock Bulldog or the Finlandia Lion flag outside their storefront. The flag indicates that a special promotion, deal or discount is going on inside – in honor of Hancock Event Day! Look for the flags near businesses on these upcoming days and stop inside for a great deal:

February 27 through March 3 – Regional Hockey Tournament
March 8 – Nordic Film Series at Finnish American Heritage Center with Kulkuri ja Joutsen   (The Swan and the Wanderer)
April 12 – Nordic Film Series at Finnish American Heritage Center with Efter Brylluppet (After the Wedding)
May 12 – Prom (Hancock High School)
May 27 – Graduation (Hancock High School)
June 8 – Last day of school (Hancock Public Schools)

Businesses wishing to participate in Hancock Event Days may purchase a flag at City Hall for $37 per flag.
